The Lookout Toggle favorite

This was the perfect location for a small family of 4 from 3 different states to meet and spend some time together. Lindsey thought of everything. No need to run out for soap or toilet paper as plenty was provided. The house was clean and comfortable. We all were able to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

Can’t wait to come back again in slightly warmer weather and take advantage of the lovely outdoor area with a grill and fire pit. I really can’t recommend this place any more strongly. It is wonderful. Thank you.

Lindsey was so easy to work with and very good at communicating and proactive info. The place was perfect, clean and super comfortable. They thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

The home was beautiful, clean and spacious, with an ideal layout. The outdoor areas—deck and firepit—were private and beautiful. We were extremely pleased.

We have stayed several times and love everything about the place. It is a perfect place to stay with friends and family.

The "Lookout" is a very pleasant vacation cabin, recently constructed, very clean, nicely appointed and located in a quiet, rural setting. A great and safe place for pets and children. Short hiking trails and a pond are on the property and a large lake with beaches and boat ramps is close by. The cabin is convenient to Miami U. in Oxford about a 20 min. drive away. A very enjoyable location

Perfect place for our 5 person family and 2 dogs. Comfortable interior and large outdoor space. We spent a lot of time playing yard games, relaxing on the front porch and back deck as well as around the fire pit and picnic table.

This was a weekend for the family to get together and catch-up so we rarely left the house. We all agreed that when we come back, we'll do some exploring!

We really enjoyed this cabin home which we used for during our daughter’s graduation weekend at Miami University. Beautiful interior, lots of space, and we used the back deck and fire pit areas each day. Lindsey was a great host. We highly recommend!

Awesome stay!

Absolutely perfect house! It was clean and just felt right at home. Would love to rent out the whole street for a family reunion!

Our stay was perfect! If we decide to visit the area again, we would definitely book this cabin. Lindsey was responsive and accommodating. The cabin was perfect for our family! We roasted hot dogs on the fire, hiked behind the cabin- even seen a fox and a deer. Our kids loved the playground, especially since it was right next to the cabin. It’s a very quiet and peaceful area. The cabin was ABSOLUTELY stunning. We enjoyed the fire place, played cards on the large dining table, and watched movies. I can’t rave enough have spacious and amazing this cabin was.

Lindsey provided a cozy atmosphere and we all (4 of us) felt at home. The cabin is very clean and new and there was a large space for television viewing, game playing and eating. All and all a restful, peaceful place with an outdoor fire pit and wood for a fire on a chilly evening. A washer and dryer were nice to have on the premises. We didn’t do laundry but we did dry our towels for the next day. Thank you, Lindsey!

This was a perfect get away for me and my husband. It was very quiet and we had all we needed right in the cabin. Lindsey was extremely helpful and we really appreciated the little touches like the coffee, water and snacks she left for us. That was much appreciated. We took advantage of the grill, fire pit and just sitting out on the back porch. We even caught a glimpse of a family of deer grazing one morning. The cabin was super clean too. We've stayed at several rentals on our travels and this was by far the cleanest. There was no clutter, the furnishings were all comfortable and functional instead of trendy cutesy and oh so uncomfortable. We also took advantage of Brookville lake and walked a few trails and even went to the beach. The king bed was a bit hard for me...but that's just personal preference and didn't effect our stay at all. One tip: IGA and Save a Lot grocery stores have limited selection - Walmart in Oxford, OH is close.

We stayed and Lindsey’s The Lookout Cabin, and can’t say enough great things about it! The price was great, the cabin was super clean and inviting, the location was awesome and she was very easy to work with (even gave us some great restaurant recommendations). It was such an awesome place for our family. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks for the great place Lindsey!

We stayed in The Lookout and easily traveled to and from Miami University for graduation. The cabin is well appointed with very comfortable beds and a working kitchen. Outdoor space is great. Would definitely recommend.
